Green before it was Cool

Back when people thought green was just a color, Green Mountain College of Vermont was establishing itself as a premier “environmental liberal arts college.” Its “E-Core” requirements were at the heart of its academic programs.

When they came to us, they were looking for admissions materials that captured what made them special. We developed the theme, Outside the Ordinary, and used copy lines like, “What on earth is going on here?” and “Small Classes, Big Backyard.”  When the time came to get their viewbook printed, of course we did the job on recycled paper using soy-based ink.
