SMS students come from all over the country to get better at snowboarding, alpine skiing or nordic racing, and fulfill their athletic aspirations of competing at high-profile national and international competitions. While the students are immersed in the snowboarding and skiing culture, and are accustomed to wild colors and abstract design, it’s the parents who foot the bill for tuition. They need to be convinced that if their child doesn’t “make it” on the circuit, they will still have a solid college-prep education to fall back on. We intentionally designed the school’s viewbook in keeping with a more traditional, upscale approach, to project an image of a credible academic institution worthy of its substantial price-tag.
